We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and highly organised Site Manager to join our thriving family of schools. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, works well independently and takes satisfaction in ensuring that school sites operate smoothly for children, staff and the wider community.

As a key member of our Trust team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our learning environments, helping to ensure that every pupil can learn in a safe, secure and inspiring setting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of our schools by undertaking a wide range of caretaking, maintenance and premises management responsibilities.

Your duties will include:

Maintaining the safety, security and appearance of school buildings and grounds.
Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and minor improvement works.
Overseeing site security, including opening and closing procedures.
Supporting health and safety compliance across multiple school sites.
Managing porterage and the movement of equipment and resources.
Supervising contractors and site visitors when required.
Undertaking cleaning and caretaking duties to ensure high standards are maintained.
Responding promptly and effectively to maintenance issues and emergencies.
Working collaboratively with school leaders and Trust colleagues to deliver excellent facilities management.

Ingatestone Infant School
Ingatestone and Fryerning Church of England Junior School
There may also be opportunities to provide caretaking support at:

Mountnessing Church of England Primary School
Shenfield St Mary's Church of England Primary School

The successful candidate must be able to travel independently between sites as required.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience in site management, caretaking, maintenance or facilities management.
Has practical skills and can confidently undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks.
Understands the importance of health and safety and risk management.
Is reliable, flexible and able to respond calmly to changing priorities.
Can work independently while also contributing positively to a wider team.
Demonstrates strong organisational and communication skills.
Takes pride in maintaining high standards and a welcoming environment.
