At Millhouse Primary School & Nursery, our motto is 'Inspiring tomorrow's generation,
today' and we are looking for a class teacher who can do just this!
We are a large forward-thinking primary school that uses evidence-based research to inform
our practice. We have a hardworking and dedicated team of staff and a supportive
leadership team.
We are looking for a teacher with a passion for Inclusion who will be working in our newly
established 'Lighthouse' classroom. A small class of up to 6 children with additional needs.
We would like someone who:
• Is patient and kind and is always striving to do what is best for our children and
families.
• Has high behaviour expectations both inside and out of the classroom- so that all
children can feel safe and learn without disruption.
• Can bring learning to life in exciting ways for all children.
• Is committed to high standards and getting the best out of all our children.
• Matches our inclusive ethos and adapts the learning to remove barriers for all of the
children in their classroom.
• Prides themselves on building positive relationships with children, their families,
external agencies and staff teams.
• Has experience of working with children with complex needs either in a mainstream
classroom or specialist provision.
• Is confident implementing and co-ordinating specialist provision for individual
children.
