We are looking for an outstanding Head of Chemistry who will play a pivotal role in the continued development and successes of our Science Faculty. As Head of Chemistry, you will be responsible for the leadership and development of your subject not only within the faculty but across the school.
The successful candidate will need to have the ability to assess and progress key information effectively to identify priorities within the subject area, to secure strong student progress.
Our Academic Plus Programme has contributed to the growing popularity of Chemistry at Key Stage 5, and we are looking for an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher to build on this success by promoting enrichment opportunities to inspire students to develop their passion for Chemistry and the wider STEM field.
You will need to have exceptional subject knowledge across the curriculum for all key stages.
You will need to strive to demonstrate, embed and uphold the school's PRIDE core values of Positivity, Resilience, Integrity, Dignity and Equality in order to support the character development of all students.
