Post: Family Liaison Worker/Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
Hours: 28 hours per week Term Time plus inset days (39 weeks per annum)
Contract: Permanent contract
Salary: Scale 5, Points 10-13 £17,966-£18,856 per annum (full time equivalent salary £27,693-£29,064)

We are seeking a caring, dedicated and proactive Family Liaison Worker to join our school community. This rewarding role is at the heart of supporting our children and families, helping to remove barriers to learning and ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
The successful candidate will have experience of safeguarding children and be confident in applying safeguarding procedures and policies effectively. They will have a proven ability to build positive relationships with families, providing support, guidance and signposting where needed to improve outcomes for children.
Working closely with pupils, parents, staff and external agencies, the Family Liaison Worker will play a key role in promoting pupil wellbeing, attendance and engagement, helping young children achieve their very best both academically and personally.
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, resilient and an excellent communicator, with a genuine commitment to supporting families and improving children's life chances.
