Part-Time Fixed-Term SEN Learning Support Assistant (including 1 hour as a Midday Assistant)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed part-time SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team and support pupils' learning and development in Year 6, for a fixed-term until 31st July 2026. The post would be mornings only Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 1:15pm (this includes Midday Assistant duties).
The role involves working confidently with challenging behaviour and supporting students with complex needs, under the guidance of a class teacher.
The successful candidate must:
have experience of working with children with complex needs
have high expectations of learning and behaviour
have an up to date understanding of the statutory requirements for safeguarding
be supportive, nurturing and understanding
communicate well with parents, carers and members of staff, as well as pupils
work well as part of a team
have a sense of humour

Hours: 5 days per week - morning + MDA time until 1:15pm
8:30am- 12:00am - Learning Support Assistant
12:15pm - 1:15pm - Midday Assistant
Pay Scale - Between Scale 3, point 4/5 and Scale 4, point 6/7
