We are looking to appoint a Site Supervisor to support and supervise our Caretaker to ensure our school facilities are available and ensure that the school site operates safely and effectivelyon a daily basis.

This is a new role and will therefore be for a fixed-term of1-year in the first instance. However, providing the budget allows and the role is successful, this could become longer-term in the future.

Hours 1.00pm - 4.30pm daily, including school holidays. Although hours can be flexible during school closure, holiday periods.

Working weeks 52.14 weeks with 25 days holiday to be taken during school closure, holiday periods.

Pay and hours FTE £26,824 - £27,254 Actual salary £13,031.83 (working 17.5 hours per week and including outer fringe payment).

We are a busy, split-site primary school so the successful candidate will need to be well organised, energetic and positive. The role is mostly administrative but will require a keen and practical eye to identify and resolve problems and ensure all actions from reports and audits are completed effectively.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• To support the caretaker in ensuring that the school buildings, facilities and grounds are maintained to the highest possible standard, are in a proper working order and the school site is safe and secure at all times.

• To be lead contact for all site / facilities issues.

• To be responsible to the SBM for a range of duties relating to the security, operations, premises management and monitoring of the school site including the management and supervision of contractors on site.

• To work with the SBM / Headteacher in support of future developmental activity e.g. new build, commercial use etc.
