Job Description

South Green Infant and Nursery School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and child-centred LSA for EYFS (Nursery and Reception) or KS1 (Year 1 and 2). It is key that you enjoy playing alongside and interacting with children. We passionately follow a continuous provision approach throughout our school and invest time to ensure that all children get the most from their infant school experience.

We are looking for someone who can work for 4 hours or more per day, Monday to Friday (am and lunchtime preferably with some afternoons) and the salary is scale 3 or 4 depending on experience, term time only, 43.6 weeks per year.

We are looking for an individual who will:

have experience of working with children in an early years or infant school setting
have a high level of emotional intelligence, communication and interaction skills
have energy, enthusiasm and flexibility with the ability to look upon the variety of challenges small children bring as an opportunity to be positive, share their great sense of humour and be playful
