Cover Supervisor
Salary: GLC P17 £28,083 - P22 £31,698 [Actual Pro Rata Salary £24.086 - £27,187]
Contract; Permanent
Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, Term Time only
Closing Date: 8th September 2026 at Midday
The Gateway Learning Community [GLC] which is a partnership of one secondary academy and four primary academies located within Tilbury and Chadwell St Mary in the borough of Thurrock, to the east of London. We are seeking two dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisors to join our primary schools. The primary focus of this role is to supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. You will give instructions for the lessons as provided by the teaching staff, ensuring pupils stay on task while maintaining a good, orderly, and purposeful learning environment.
