The Deputy Chief Operating Officer and the CEO of Southend East Community Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a Estates Technician & Groundsperson to ensure all Trust grounds, sports facilities and landscaped areas are maintained to a high, safe, and professional standard while being well presented for students, staff, visitors and wider stakeholders.

Itis essential that the successful candiidate have GCSE Maths and English or equivalent at Grade C or 4 as well as a Full UK Manual Driving License and a recognised qualification in grounds maintenance.

It is desirable the sucessful candidate have a Level 3 Diploma in Horticulture, Turf Maintenance, or related field, PA1 / PA6a Pesticides Certificate, Chainsaw qualification (e.g., cross-cutting and maintenance), First Aid qualification.
