About the role

This is a chance to make a real difference. You'll plan and teach engaging lessons, support students to reach their full potential, and work closely with colleagues, families and pastoral teams. You'll help create a positive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported in their learning journey.

Key responsibilities

Plan and teach engaging lessons that build on what students already know and challenge them to grow
Adapt your teaching to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND, EAL and high ability
Use assessment and feedback to guide students' progress and shape your future teaching
Create a positive learning environment with clear routines and high expectations for behaviour
Work with colleagues, families and support staff to help every student succeed
Take part in duties across the school day to support positive behaviour and student wellbeing
We are looking for someone who

You'll have Qualified Teacher Status and a degree in a relevant subject. You'll understand what excellent teaching looks like and how to create a classroom where every student can learn. Can you build strong relationships with students while maintaining clear boundaries and expectations?

We'd love to hear from you if you have good communication skills, work well in a team, and are open to feedback and coaching. You'll show empathy, patience and adaptability when working with students from different backgrounds. What excites you most about helping students discover what they can achieve?
