Contract:Fixed Term, 39 weeks per year

Hours:16.25 hours per week, 08:45am - 12pm Monday - Friday

Salary:Scale 3, Points 6-7 £25989 - £26403 FTE (Actual Salary £9785 - £9941)

Are you looking for an amazing opportunity to be a part of an incredible journey at Barnes Farm Primary School? We are looking to appoint Learning Support Assistant to join us for 16.25 hours per week. The successful candidate will be committed to supporting all pupils including those with additional needs. In this role, you would be working within a fantastic, supportive and welcoming team. Applicants will need to be enthusiastic, positive and able to work on your own initiative as well as follow direction.

We are looking for a candidate who has:

Experience of supporting children in a school setting
Strong behaviour management skills
Able to support the child's medical needs and willing to deal with intimate care needs
Knowledge of successful strategies to engage pupils with specific and significant needs
Is able to demonstrate patience, calmness and flexibility at all times
A commitment to high achievement from pupils and themselves
Excellent organisation and inter-personal skills
Good standard of education: Maths and English GCSE grades A-C or equivalent
Good knowledge of ICT
Flexibility and a good sense of humour
The ability to use their own initiative
Willing to undertake training and support individual needs.
