Band: B (3) point 10-16 salary £26,103 - £28,726 (National pay review pending)

Actual salary: £12,730 - £14,009

Hours: 21 hours per week (8:30 - 4:30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, includes 1hr unpaid lunch)

Increase in hours review pending

Term time only 44.8 weeks per year

Abbots Hall Primary Academy is looking to appoint an experienced, organised, flexible and friendly Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills and be an enthusiastic team player who is passionate about working with children.

We are looking for someone who:

· Has been educated to at least GCSE level in English and Maths

· Has previous office and administration experience with both excellent interpersonal and IT skills (Office 365, Word and Excel). Experience of Arbor

MIS is essential.

· Has good telephone manner and a patient and positive attitude, being able to deal with queries from parents, children and staff in a calm, sensitive

manner.

· Is able to build strong relationships with adults and children

The successful candidate will be required to:

· Work in collaboration with other colleagues and under the direction of the Office Manager/Academy Business Manager

· Undertake reception and telephone duties, ensuring all visitors are welcomes and appropriate records kept

· Assist with maintaining the rolling register, invoice and general administration for the Nursery

· Administer first aid

· Assist with wraparound care administration duties

· Assist with administration relating to HR and Finance, the ordering stock, distributing mail and deliveries

· Deputise for the Office Manager where required

· Provide assistance to the SLT, minute meetings etc as required

· Undertake training as required, keeping up-to-date with changes in education relevant to your role
