We are looking to appoint an experienced Administrative Assistant to work in our busy school office. To work 32.5 hours per week (5 days a week 8.30am to 3.30pm with 30 minute lunch break. Term time plus non pupil days and 2 weeks. Paid on Scale 3 (point 5-6) plus outer fringe (is £25,989 pa + £729 pa pro-rata is approximately £21,110 per annum).
Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience of BROMCOM being advantageous. They should possess excellent administrative, organisational and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively on their own initiative. Previous experience working within a school environment would be beneficial. Experience in banking or financial administration, together with strong IT skills, would be highly desirable.
We are seeking a calm, organised, methodical and flexible individual to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and operational duties, including reception, clerical and finance tasks and general school administration. The role also encompasses supporting Special Educational Needs (SEN) administration, IT coordination, school policies, governor administration and premises management, including health and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while contributing positively to the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
Visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged.
