Pay Range:Starting from Scale 4 Point 8-9 (depending on experience)
Contract Type:Part-time, term-time only plus non-pupil days
Contract Term:Permanent
Closing Date: 31st August 2026
Interviews: Week commencing 14th September 2026
Purpose of the role
To provide efficient and accurate HR and training administration, acting as a key point of contact for staff on HR processes and ensuring effective coordination between the School and the Trust's Central HR Team.
The postholder will manage day-to-day personnel administration, maintain accurate workforce and training records, and support recruitment and absence processes, ensuring compliance with Trust systems and procedures.
Working hours: 30 hours per week (working pattern to be discussed), Monday - Friday, term time only plus non-pupil days.

About you:
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisation and time-management skills with the ability to manage workload and to meet deadlines. They will have a flexible approach to their role, a key attention to detail and a positive, solution-focused attitude, with a keen desire to expand their knowledge and experience.
The successful candidate will work to support and manage the Central HR Team and will be the first point of contact for all HR queries.

We moved into a purpose built, specialist environment in 2015 and are fortunate to benefit from a suite of facilities to enrich the quality of provision for our students. With over 500 students and rising, we are one of the biggest special schools in Essex and each day is very different from the day before!
