Graded as "outstanding", Shorefields School caters for 165 pupils with severe learning difficulties. We are seeking anECT class teacher(SEN) to start from 1st September 2026.

Early Career Teachers transferring from mainstream school are welcome to apply, but must have SEN experience. Our priority is appointing someone with the right personality and appraoch and with the skills and attributes that will support effective work. We can help with the rest !

You will need a positive work ethic, be motivated, have a sense of humour and the desire and ability to learn fast.

This will initially be a fixed term contract for 1 year from 1stSeptember 2026.

The school is located in the centre of Clacton-on-Sea close to the beach and shopping area. Our catchment area extends to the whole of the Tendring peninsula.
