Learning Support Assistant (Fixed-Term, 1 Year Contract)
Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of children with additional needs?
Trinity Road Primary School is seeking a dedicated, resilient and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team on a one-year fixed-term contract. You would be working 32.5 hours per week during term time and also on 5 in-set days.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to develop specialist skills in supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs while being part of a highly supportive school community.
Initially, the successful candidate will spend four days per week at Grow, an SEMH provision in Newland Springs, working alongside experienced professionals to support children with a range of social, emotional and behavioural needs. The fifth day each week will be based at Trinity Road Primary School.
As the year progresses, there will be a planned and gradual transition back to Trinity Road, with the expectation that the successful candidate will be working at Trinity Road full-time by the summer term, supporting pupils within our mainstream setting.

- Has experience of working with children in an educational setting.

- Works effectively as part of a team and communicates well with colleagues, families and external professionals.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
