Inclusion Admin Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a caring colleague who loves children to come and join our friendly, passionate team. This new role illustrates our school's commitment to removing barriers so that every child enjoys high-quality provision that meets their needs which enables them to flourish in every way.
You will work closely with the Headteacher and SENDCo to provide administration support for families of children with additional needs, Children in Care and those children for whom attendance is a concern, helping to ensure that all children can access a broad and balanced curriculum. This role will involve supporting the co-ordination and administration of medical needs, including allergies, and SEND paperwork as well as supporting attendance. Working closely with children, staff, parents/carers and external agencies you will help to ensure effective support and inclusion for all children.
The successful candidate will have:
· Relevant administrative experience including ICT skills;
· Previous experience of minute/note taking
· Excellent levels of literacy and numeracy;
· High standard of verbal & written communication skills when dealing with colleagues, pupils, parents and visitors and external agencies;
· Able to work effectively and professionally as part of a team;
· Able to follow instructions and adhere to all school policies;
· Ability to work on own initiative and calmly under pressure;
· Highly organised and able to work methodically, with attention to detail.
· Ability to work successfully in a busy and pressurised environment.
· A basic knowledge and awareness of SEND, medical needs and school attendance is desirable.

Hours are Monday to Friday, term time only 13 hours per week. Salary will be paid on Scale 3 FTE £25,989 - £26,403 (£13.47 - £13.69 per hour). Salary is paid over twelve months.
