● Provide targeted mentoring for vulnerable and disadvantaged pupils

● Take on key pastoral responsibilities that traditionally sat within tutor roles

● Work closely with Heads of Year and senior leaders

● Be highly visible across the school day, especially at key transition points

● Undertake duties including RL and Encore

● Ensure that barriers to learning are identified and removed quickly

The successful candidate will have/be:

● Lives and breathes our values of Kindness, Hard Work and Ambition

● Has relentlessly high expectations of pupils

● Builds strong, respectful relationships with young people

● Is calm, resilient and solution-focused under pressure

● Thrives on being visible and present around the school

● Has a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable pupils to succeed

As an employee of TKAT you will benefit from:

● A wide variety of opportunities for professional development, including the potential to develop your career at more than one TKAT academy;

● Opportunities to work flexibly, where possible;

● Our support for your wellbeing at work; and

● The rewards of working to improve the life chances of our pupils.

Application packs can be downloaded from our website www.kha-tkat.org. Completed application forms should be sent or emailed to Mrs Campbell at michaela.campbell@kha-tkat.org.
