LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT
Full-time, term time only (37 hours per week)
Scale 4 - 6 (£25,185- £25,989, actual pro rata salary is £21,591- £22,280)
We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive SEN department. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our young people by helping them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
· Support pupils in the classroom, individually and in small groups.
· Assist students with a range of learning needs and abilities.
· Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to support the learning of students with additional needs.
· Encourage students' confidence, independence, and social development.
· Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Patience, empathy, positive attitude and caring nature.
· The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
