What You'll Be Doing
Managing day-to-day financial processes - purchase orders, invoices and transactions
Supporting budget monitoring and financial reporting
Administering school trips and ParentPay systems
Maintaining contracts, records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
Providing high-quality administrative support across school operations
Essential Skills & Experience
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced in finance, accounting or financial administration
Educated to NVQ Level 3
Confident using financial systems and IT packages
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Able to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
A clear communicator, able to liaise effectively with staff and stakeholders
Calm under pressure and a strong team player

Confidence supporting and advising staff on financial matters

The Boswells School is a large 11-18 secondary school that serves the area of north Chelmsford. The school is an extremely popular, over-subscribed convertor academy that enjoys an excellent reputation in the local and wider community. We were graded ‘Good’ in every area by OFSTED in February 2017 and are working towards our goal of becoming a truly great school.
