At Tudor Court Primary School, we are seeking to appoint anexceptional, strategic and highly motivated SEND and Inclusion Leadwho is passionate about ensuring that every child receives the support, provision and opportunities they need to thrive.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified SEND professional to join our leadership team and play a central role in shaping inclusive practice across the school. We are looking for someone with the vision, expertise and determination to work alongside the Senior Leadership Team to improve outcomes, champion inclusion and ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning for all pupils, particularly those with SEND and additional needs.

The successful candidate will be a skilled practitioner and strategic leader, committed to ensuring that all children are valued, supported and empowered to achieve their full potential.

We are looking for a SEND and Inclusion Lead who will:

Be aqualified SENCowith a strong understanding of SEND legislation, the SEND Code of Practice and current inclusive practice
Providestrategic and operational leadershipfor SEND and inclusion across the school
Play a central role in shaping and driving the school's vision for inclusion, ensuring equitable access, participation and achievement for all pupils
Teach and work directly with pupils with SEND, including those with complex needs and pupils within specialist SEND provision
Lead on the identification, assessment, planning, provision and review of SEND support across the school
Oversee and manageEHCP processes, annual reviews and statutory requirements effectively
Monitor, evaluate and review the impact of SEND interventions, using data, evidence and pupil outcomes to inform next steps
Work in partnership with families, valuing their insights and ensuring that pupil and parent voice are central to decision-making
Liaise effectively with external agencies, including educational psychologists, therapists, health professionals and local authority services, to secure the best possible outcomes for pupils
Lead and manage Teaching Assistants and the wider inclusion team, ensuring effective deployment, accountability and high-quality professional development
Model and promoteoutstanding inclusive teaching practice, supporting staff through coaching, training and guidance
Support teachers in adapting teaching and learning to meet the needs of all learners
Contribute actively to theSenior Leadership Team, school improvement priorities and safeguarding culture
Promote a culture of inclusion, empathy, belonging and high expectations for every child
Demonstrate a collaborative, resilient and reflective leadership style, with a commitment to continuous improvement
Have high aspirations for themselves and others, using creativity, innovation and expertise to drive success
Be passionately committed to safeguarding and to the welfare and wellbeing of children, families and staff
We are seeking a candidate who has:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
TheNational Award for SENCO Accreditation / NPQ for SENCOs(or willingness to undertake this qualification)
Significant experience of working with children with SEND, including pupils with complex needs
Experience of leading SEND provision and driving whole-school inclusive practice
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
A secure understanding of assessment, intervention and progress monitoring for pupils with SEND
The ability to inspire, challenge and support colleagues to improve practice
A commitment to working collaboratively with staff, families and external professionals
High expectations and an unwavering belief that every child can succeed
