Level 7 Points 21 - 27, currently £ 33,143 to 38,220 (FTE per annum)
Hours of work
This role is part time, Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day (9.15am - 2.45pm), totalling 25 hours per week, term time only.

About the role
Portico Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an experienced, highly organised and professional Governance Lead & PA to CEO to provide high-level governance, compliance and operational support across the Trust. This is a key role within the central Trust team, supporting robust and legally compliant governance systems while providing executive-level Personal Assistant support to the CEO.
The successful applicant will:
· Lead the coordination of the Trust governance cycle, including Board, committee and Members' meetings.
· Provide professional clerking support, including agenda preparation, minute-taking and governance administration.
· Maintain governance records, statutory registers and compliance tracking systems.
· Support the development and maintenance of governance frameworks, policies and procedures.
· Coordinate Trust-wide compliance monitoring across safeguarding, health & safety, data protection and policy compliance.
· Support GDPR compliance, Subject Access Requests (SARs) and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.
· Provide high-level PA support to the CEO, including diary management, meeting coordination and executive administration.
· Support the preparation of reports, presentations, governance papers and leadership documentation.
· Maintain governance systems, shared drives and document control processes.
· Produce governance, compliance and operational reporting to support leadership oversight and decision-making.
· Be highly organised, professional and able to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
· Possess excellent communication, administrative and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with Trustees, senior leaders and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting effective governance, operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the Trust.
