Are you a passionate and experienced practitioner with a commitment to improving outcomes for learners with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and communication barriers?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Inclusion Coach - SEMH and Communication Lead to join our SEND Provision team. This is a key role focused on supporting inclusive practice, strengthening provision, and ensuring that learners develop the emotional resilience and communication skills needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Support staff to deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching for learners with SEMH and speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN)
Support staff to understand sensory differences and adaptations and adjustments to learning environments
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support teams, families, and external agencies
Provide targeted interventions and monitor impact on learner progress and wellbeing
Contribute to EHCP provision and reviews, ensuring needs are effectively met
Deliver training and guidance to staff to build confidence and expertise in SEMH and communication support

About You
The Ideal Candidate will:

Have experience working with learners with SEMH and communication needs
Demonstrate strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions and strategies
Be an effective communicator with the ability to influence and support colleagues
Be passionate about inclusion and improving outcomes for vulnerable learners
Have relevant qualifications in SEND, Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language (desirable)
