Endeavour Co-operative Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and organised Admin / Clerical Officer to join our welcoming and supportive school community.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy school office and become part of a dedicated staff team committed to making a real difference to the lives of young people.


The role is based across our two nearby sites in Brentwood, supporting both our main school for pupils aged 5-16 and our Sixth Form provision for pupils aged 16-19. The successful applicant will undertake a variety of financial, personnel, pupil-related and general administrative duties to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the school office.

The working hours are 21 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday (8:30am to 4:00pm).

The pro rata'd salary per annum is between Scale 6, Pt 14 (£14,374) to Pt 18 (£15,345). Based on 44.7 paid weeks, term time only. Pay Award Pending April 2026.

Information about the School

Endeavour Co-operative Academy is a 5 – 19 school for 172 young people, all with an EHCP. The primary need of pupils is Moderate Learning Difficulties. Our classes have, on average, 12 pupils and 1.5 Teaching Assistants. All teachers are class tutors, which involves responsibility for registration, reports and Annual Reviews for a class.

It is an exciting time for the school, construction of the new building commenced in January 2024 and is due to be completed by September 2025 - January 2026.
