FTE 100%

Salary: Teacher's Main Scale 1-6

£34,398- £46,839 actual salary per annum

Allowance: TLR 2A (£3,527 per annum)

Start Date: 1st September 2026

An opportunity has arisen, for a lead teacher of PE to join our successful teaching team. Thameside Primary School is a large primary school in Grays. We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and committed teacher to lead the physical education department.

The successful candidate will manage the teaching and learning of Physical Education efficiently, ensuring each pupil achieves their optimum level. They will lead, develop and enhance the teaching practice of teachers in the department, raising standards for learning and teaching.The siccessful candidate must hold Qualified Teacher status (QTS).
