Learning Support Assistant- Early Years Foundation Stage.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Learning Support Assistant (LSA). The successful candidate will become part of our friendly and hard-working team which is dedicated to ensuring our children learn well and are well cared for. The role will involve working with children individually, in small groups and in classes, including teaching some classes when teachers have release time. The role also has an important pastoral element which involves providing a 'listening ear' and some support to children that are finding some emotions and life experiences a challenge.
· Scale 3.£25,989 - £26,403, which is £13.47 - £13.69 per hour.
· Part time, 32.5 hours per week.
· Term time plus inset days. Please note St Osyth is moving to a two-week October half term from September 2026.
· Monday to Friday: 8:30am- 3:30pm (with 30 mins lunch break)
· To start September 2026.

Ours is a rural location just twenty minutes from Colchester and ten minutes from Clacton. We are an academy with the Vine Schools Trust and so have the support of the trust and of the diocese. We also have training and other support in place for the successful applicant.
