Scale 10/11-Points 34 - 42 (£42,289 - £50,138) dependent on experience.
Start date: July 26 (Negotiable for candidates notice required)
This is an extremely exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious, visionary Business Manager with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to become part of our dedicated team. We are looking for someone who likes to work in a busy environment and shares our passion for providing pupils with the best start to their education.
You will:
- Provide high quality strategic leadership on business functions within the school, including financial planning, stakeholder management and resource allocation in support of the school's vision, aims and objectives.
- Provide professional leadership and management of office, site and catering staff to enhance their performance
- Lead on the effective and efficient delivery of HR, H&S, Payroll and Finance across the school
- Report to governors
- Be proactive in developing new systems, manage multiple projects and ensure the school is compliant with legislation and internal policies.
We expect that the successful candidate will have a recognised finance/business qualifications or equivalent experience. A management/business degree or school business manager qualifications such as CSBM, DSBM, ADSBM would be desirable but again not necessary.

Thank you for your interest in the position in our school.
St Andrew’s CE Primary School is situated in the village of North Weald, close to Epping. There are currently 348 pupils, age 4 – 11 years on roll plus a pre-school with 16 places for 3 to 4 year olds. The majority of our pupils live in the village of North Weald.
Class teachers are supported by a very experienced team of Learning Support Assistants, and HLTAs who also take on additional responsibilities within the school. We have an experienced SEND team who provide invaluable support for our children.
At St Andrews we are very proud of our inclusive, Christian ethos. We Believe in Friendship, Inspire Courage and Achieve Confidence.
Our last Ofsted inspection, in July 2023, judged our school as continuing to be Good in all areas. Whilst our website is very informative and will give you a flavour of our school, I would welcome visits to see the school in action.
