Job Description

Whitmore Primary School and Nursery has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / Midday Assistant (MDA) to join our team in September 2026.

The LSA hours are: 8:45am to 3:20pm Monday to Friday (including a 30 minute break), 25 hours and 25 minutes per week during term time (39 weeks per year, including 5 inset days).

The MDA hours are: 12:00 to 13:00pm, Monday to Friday (5 hours per week) term time only for 38 weeks per year

LSA Salary: Scale 3 or Scale 4 (Range 6 to 9) Actual Salary £15,349 to £15,829 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. (includes paid annual leave, which must be taken during school closure periods).

MDA Salary: Scale 2, Point 4 (Range 4 to 5) Actual Salary: £3,002 per annum.
