We are seeking to appoint a part-time HLTA for September 2026 (10 hours per week) on a permanent contract.

We invite applications for this exciting opportunity to join our dedicated and thriving team as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. We are seeking a versatile, highly motivated, and pro-active individual who is looking to work within a supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking school environment.

The successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and developmental needs of our pupils. This role requires an individual who is not only willing to integrate seamlessly into our existing structure but also eager to bring their own skills and enthusiasm to enhance our provision. If you thrive in a team-based setting and are committed to making a difference in a child's learning journey, we encourage you to apply.

The successful candidate will lead KS1 and KS2 classes to cover PPA sessions during afternoons and also provide scheduled, and short notice, cover for teacher absence. Additionally, the role may include some targeted intervention work.

If you are interested in this role but do not have a HLTA qualification, then we may be able to support and enable you to undertake this qualification.

Visits to the school are encouraged. Please contact the school office if you would like to arrange this.

We reserve the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date for applications.
