Helena Romanes School is looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Spanish with French to join our thriving Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Faculty. Our MFL team consists of passionate subject specialists who collaborate closely and have a wealth of expertise in various aspects of teaching and learning, dedicated to delivering a rigorous curriculum and promoting the best outcomes for every student. This role is suitable for both an experienced practitioner or an ECT, and the successful candidate will be highly motivated and committed to delivering high-quality, engaging lessons. We offer exciting opportunities within the department, as the successful candidate may have the opportunity to teach in the primary phase as well as the secondary phase, enriching the language journey across the school. The ability to teach Spanish to KS4 is desirable.
The MFL department maintains strong links with our partner schools within the trust, actively working together to ensure that our curriculum and assessments are rigorous, thereby setting and maintaining high expectations for all students. Beyond the classroom, we are committed to enriching the student experience and foster a love for language and culture by running frequent and popular trips to both Spain and France across the Key Stages. We are seeking a dedicated professional who will champion the Spanish language and contribute positively to our successful faculty environment.
