Physical Therapy Lead
Full time - 35 hours per week, Term-time plus (6 weeks) - Pay Range - Scale 7 Points 19-24 (actual salary £29,315 - £32,508)

Are you a passionate and experienced qualified Physiotherapist looking for an exciting opportunity to lead and shape innovative practice in a supportive school environment?
Southview School is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled qualified Physiotherapist to work as our Physical Therapy Lead (PTL) to manage our physiotherapy provision and drive whole-school physical development. This is a new role, and, as such, facilitates the opportunity to work with school leaders in developing a bespoke role to best suit the needs of our cohort.
What you'll do:
- Lead a team of Specialist Therapy Assistants delivering high-quality physiotherapy and physical interventions, working directly with children and students where appropriate.
- Develop and monitor individual physiotherapy plans linked to EHCP outcomes.
- Deliver direct clinical intervention, assessment and review for pupils with complex needs.
- Liaise with families, staff, external health professionals and the Local Authority.
- Work closely with the local NHS healthcare provider and other partners to ensure excellent clinical governance.
- Contribute to whole-school planning, staff training and policy development.
- Play a key role in evaluating the role and supporting future Trust-wide roll-out.

About you:
- Qualified Physiotherapist with HCPC registration and relevant experience working with children with complex needs.
- Confident in clinical reasoning, and able to work collaboratively in an education setting.
