Layer de la Haye Primary school are seeking to appoint an experienced and dedicated School Administration Assistant to join our hardworking team. This is a key role providing high quality administrative support to staff, pupils and parents while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
Actual salary: £21,753.36 - £22,102.08 per annum (Band 4 scale point 8-9 depending on experience)
Hours of Work: 7 hours per day (8.30am - 4pm), 5 days per week, 39 weeks per year
Start date: 1st September 2026 (transition time with the outgoing Administration Assistant in July is a possibility)
The successful candidate will,
· Demonstrate strong organisational and multitasking skills
· Have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
· Work effectively independently and as part of a team
· Maintain a professional, approachable, and positive attitude
· Has previous administrative experience (school experience desirable but not essential)
