Contract Type: 37hoursper week(Mon-Thurs8:00am -4:00pmFri 8.00am - 3.30pm). TermtimeplusINSET plus3 weeks in the school holiday.
As Orsett Heath Academy continues to grow,we arelooking to appointan experienced, highly organised and professional Personal Assistant to the Headteacher to provide a comprehensive and confidential administrative service within a busy school environment.
Working closely with the Headteacher, you will providehigh-levelpersonal assistant, administrative, clerking and personnel support, ensuring the effective day‑to‑day operation of the school leadership function. The role is central to the smooth running of the school and requires excellentorganisationalskills,discretionand the ability to manage competing priorities.Some flexibility with working hoursmay berequiredonoccasion with this role.
We are looking for:
Successful experience of administrative work in a busy school environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT skills, including word processing,databasesand general office systems
- Outstandingorganisationaland time‑management skills, with attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A professional,calmand flexible approach to work
- A clear understanding of confidentiality, data protection, safeguarding and health & safety
