· Helping children to engage with learning, manage routines and develop independence

· Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff and parents

· Being flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the day-to-day life of a busy primary school

We are looking for someone who:

· Is kind, calm, patient and nurturing

· Can quickly build positive relationships with children

· Is adaptable, quick-thinking and confident in responding to individual needs

· Shows initiative and can work proactively alongside the class teacher

· Is a strong team player with good communication skills

· Is confident following strategies and adapting support to suit each child

· Remains positive, resilient and solution-focused, even when faced with challenges
