Little Hedgehogs Day Nursery & Preschool is an Ofsted registered childcare nursery group, offering safe, educational & professional childcare services in a loving & spacious environment.
Little Hedgehogsare currently looking for to recruit3 qualified practitioners, either part-time or full-time, to join the existing professional and friendly team, providing high quality care for children aged 1 to 4 years. Our full-time position is 8am-5.30pm Monday - Friday. Our Part-time positions start with a minimum of two days a week and can vary.
Responsibilities and Duties
- To understand and implement policies and procedures, including putting the wellbeing of the children at the centre of our care.
- Provide care and education in our safe, warm and stimulating environment for all the children in our care.
- Provide familiar routines, stimulating educational play and other child-based activities.
- Plan, implemente and evaluate our early years curriculum, along with key children planning to meet individual needs and interests.
- Work in partnership with parents and team members.
Qualifications and Skills
· A full and relevant level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification, as per the Government qualification list found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-qualifications-achieved-in-england
- A full enhanced DBS or willing to have one carried out
- An enthusiastic, calm and caring nature and able to work as part of a small close team
- Be very personable and feel confident in working with young children
