Catering Assistant - 7.50 hours per week (1.5 hours per day 11.30am - 13.00 pm - must be flexible), term time only.

Band 2 points 4-5 - £4,288.49- £4,356.26 per annum

Required for April 2026

We are seeking a Catering Assistant to work at our friendly school. The successful applicant will:

· help provide nutritious, balanced and value-for-money meals to children every lunchtime under the direction of the cateringmanager and serve

· The preparation and simple cooking of food & beverages

To undertake all aspects of cleaning equipment (light and heavy), walls (up to 6ft.) floors, fixtures and fittings, cooking utensils, cutlery, glassware etc. as directed.
To maintain a high standard of personal and general cleanliness and hygiene to comply with statutory and school regulations.
· Use their initiative but also work as part of a team

· Be able to maintain a safe working environment

· Be fair, caring and above all have a sense of humour

· Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
