Are you passionate about making a real difference in children's lives? Danbury Park is seeking a caring and dynamic Deputy Head for Inclusion to join our warm, community-focused primary school. This is a unique opportunity to help shape an inclusive environment where every child and adult is valued, supported, and encouraged to thrive.

We are seeking an exceptional Deputy Headteacher/SENDCo to help drive our school forward and ensure the highest standards of teaching, learning, behaviour, attendance, and pastoral care. This is a key strategic role, combining whole-school leadership with responsibility for provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key responsibilities include coordinating and line managing the Pastoral and Inclusion Team, supporting staff, and effectively deploying resources and interventions. You will work collaboratively with families, external agencies, and professionals to deliver personalised support tailored to our pupils' needs. Monitoring and analysing pupil progress will be essential, using data to inform strategic decisions and support teaching, learning, and curriculum development across the school.

We are looking for someone who is a resilient and experienced leader with a proven track record of raising standards. You should hold the NASENCo qualification (or be willing to work towards it) and possess a deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice. Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families is crucial, as is a commitment to continuous improvement, teamwork, and reflective practice.

If you are ready to make a significant impact on our school community and help us achieve our vision, we would love to hear from you!

Visits to the school are encouraged.

Danbury Park an equal opportunities employer and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment. Following safer recruitment procedures, the appointment will be subject to the completion of pre-employment checks, including satisfactory references, medical clearance and enhanced DBS disclosure.
