Finance Officer

Scale 4-5, points 8-13
Term-time only
Actual Salary Range £18,186 - £19,705
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised person to join our school, working closely with the School Business Manager and Headteacher. The successful candidate needs to be self-motivated, able to use their initiative, work to tight deadlines, pro-active and possess the ability to 'think on their feet'.
The Finance Officer will be required to provide financial support to the school business manager in all areas of school finance, including school trips, music lessons, coach booking and dinner money administration. Flexibility, resilience, honesty, integrity and an ability to prioritise are essential together with a high level of IT skills.
Previous finance experience within a school setting would be desirable, although not essential as full training will be provided.
