Philip Morant School and College was judged as "Good" in all areas by Ofsted in September 2023. We are looking for a People and Culture/Finance Administrator who can be a key part in our ongoing improvement journey.

Job specific information:
This position is based at Philip Morant School and College working closely with the Headteacher. The position provides the liaison between the school and the Sigma Trust central functions in People and Culture and Finance.
We are looking for someone who would ideally like to work 3 days a week but we can discuss hours and days of working. The responsibilities of this role are shared with an existing member of staff working part-time hours. There will be some opportunity to be more specialised in either People and Culture or Finance.
- The successful candidate will work 22 hours per week (8:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00-3:30pm Friday. 3 days per week)
- This is a 41-week-per-year role, which includes working term time, non-pupil days, and an additional 2 weeks during school closure periods.
A Day in the Life:
You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:
- Arranging and overseeing interviews for potential staff
- Supporting pre-employment checks, induction, integration.
- Generating purchase orders
- Petty cash and cash reconciliation
- Managing parent payments
