Job Title: Food Technician
Contract Type: Permanent
Contract Term: Part time - 37 hours per week - 38 weeks per year (term time only)
Salary Range: Scale 3 Points 5-6
£25,583 - £25,989 FTE (£21,343 - £21,682 actual salary)

We are looking to appoint an organised and enthusiastic individual to support our busy and friendly Design & Technology department.
Located in the school's recently built East Block, our newly equipped Food and Textiles areas provide a clean, light and spacious working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing all food and ingredients for lessons
- working alongside the teachers to assist students during lessons
- ensuring classrooms and equipment are kept clean and tidy
- Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times
What We're Looking For
- Ability to us kitchen equipment with strong practical skills
- Knowledge of food hygiene standards
- The ability to build effective relationships with pupils
- Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
- Ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure
