**Learning Support Assistant (Maternity Cover - Upper KS2)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant in Upper KS2

This is a part‑time position, term time only. Hours are open to discussion, though ideally 2 1/2 to 3 days per week, 8:35am - 3:15pm (full day), including 30 minutes lunch and 30 minutes lunchtime support.

Salary: Essex Scale 4, point 7-8 (£26,403-£26,824 FTE, pay award pending), pro‑rated according to hours worked.


About the Role

We are looking for patient, positive and caring individuals who can:

Provide high‑quality curriculum support
Help pupils develop confidence, independence and resilience
Work closely under the direction of the class teacher
Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families
Experience working in Upper KS2 is highly beneficial, along with strong knowledge of the relevant curriculum.
