Job Description

Full Time Trainee Teacher of French and Spanish (one year contract)

We are now seeking an outstanding full time Trainee Teacher of French and Spanish (one year contract).

Subject to eligibility, successful applicants may be able to access a tax-free bursary of £20,000, or a
scholarship of £22,000 (French, German or Spanish only) through the British Council, as well as a tuition fee and maintenance loan to help fund teacher training.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding trainee classroom practitioner with the ability to inspire a love of languages and foster high academic achievement.

You will work towards your PGCE qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and will gain the skills, knowledge and practical training needed for a successful career in language education.

You will need a good honours degree or a recognised equivalent qualification together with a high level of fluency in at least one modern language.
