Finance and Admin Support Officer

Spring Meadow Primary School is seeking a passionate and motivated Finance and Admin Support Officer to join our front office team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our busy school office and financial systems.

We are looking for someone who shares our values of Courageous Optimism, Boundless Creativity and Heartfelt Compassion.

Key Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day financial administration of the school
Process orders, invoices and payments in line with school procedures
Assist with budget monitoring and financial record keeping
Provide general administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team
Contribute to the smooth operation of the school office
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

This is a varied role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has experience of financial administration (school experience desirable but not essential)
  • Is confident using financial and office IT systems
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Works accurately and efficiently
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality within a school setting
  • Is able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of PSF is desirable but not essential
