About the role:
The Ramsey Academy is seeking an inspirational, strategic, and dedicated Chair of Governors to lead our Governing Board. We are looking for a motivated leader to work alongside the Headteacher and senior leadership team to set the strategic direction, ensure accountability, and champion the best outcomes for our children and community. This is an opportunity to make a significant, positive impact on the lives of young people.
About You:
You do not need to be a parent at the school, but we are looking for someone with:
· Experience in governance, strategic leadership, or a similar, high-level role.
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
· A passion for education and a commitment to improving life chances for young people.
· The ability to facilitate, support, and challenge.
