We are seeking a Headteacher who shares this moral purpose and is passionate about building on the strong foundations already in place, continuing our journey of improvement with energy, clarity and ambition.
This role requires a leader who understands both the rewards and the unique challenges of small school leadership: someone who can balance strategic oversight with day-to-day operational demands, nurture strong relationships within a close-knit community, and inspire a committed staff team to achieve excellence for every child.
The children at Manuden are exceptional and they are keen and enthusiastic learners. They 'behave really well' and 'are incredibly respectful to each other' (Ofsted 2023).
The successful candidate will be supported by a wonderful staff team, experienced governors and great parents who all work together to make Manuden such a special place to work and learn.
