Midday Assistant
Salary:ThurrockBand A Point 1- 6
(£2,771.21- £2,966.11actual salaryper annum)


5hoursper week:12:10pm - 1:10pm, Monday - Friday
37weeks of the year- term timeonly

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexibleMidday Assistant to supervise on playgrounds or in the dining hall and escort pupils between the two areas.Thisrole is essential in ensuring a safe, positive, and engaging environment for our pupils during lunchtimes

The successful applicant will:

• Interact with the children to encourage good social skills and will lead outdoor activities to encourage participation
• Encourage healthy eating, preparing the tables, supervise playing with the children outside, supervising the clearing up of games and toys, administering firstaidand using the school's behaviour plan
• Ensure the safety and care of pupils who are injured or unwell & provide comfort if distressed
• Assistchildren with Personal Care where necessary
