Roseacres Primary School is a thriving, welcoming school at the heart of the Takeley community, and we are excited to invite applications for a permanent, full-time Primary School Teacher to join our committed and forward-thinking team.

Opened in 2015, Roseacres has grown steadily and now educates nearly 200 pupils across the full primary age range, from Reception to Year 6. While we continue to grow, we remain proudly rooted in our strong community ethos, with high aspirations for every child and adult in our school.

This is a particularly exciting time to join Roseacres. We are a reflective, research-informed school, committed to continually improving our practice and providing a rich, inclusive and ambitious education. Our curriculum is developing, our bespoke Roseacres Award enhances pupils' personal development, and our therapeutic, trauma-perceptive approach to behaviour ensures children feel safe, supported and ready to learn.

Information about the School

Roseacres may be a relatively young school - opening its doors in September 2015 with just 33 pupils, it has rapidly grown into a thriving learning community. Today, with nearly 200 pupils across seven classes, the school proudly supports children from Year R through to Year 6.

Situated on the former site of Takeley Primary - now relocated to a state-of-the-art campus in Priors Green, Little Canfield -Roseacres has become an important part of the local landscape. As Takeley village continues to evolve and expand, the demand for primary school places has risen significantly, and Roseacres stands at the heart of meeting that need, growing alongside the community it serves.
