Midday Supervisor

We are looking for someone who loves being outside with children in all weathers, to come and join our happy team of Midday supervisors - who do a fab and important job!
The successful candidate will:
· Have a calm and positive manner
· Be flexible, patient and well organised
· Use their initiative but also work as part of a team
· Be able to maintain a safe environment
· Be fair, caring and have a sense of humour
· Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Be able to lead and support playground games when required.
Hours are Monday to Friday, term time only 7.5 hours per week, fixed term until 31/08/2026. Salary will be paid on Scale 2 FTE £24,796 - £25,185 (£12.85 - £13.05 per hour). Salary is paid over twelve months.
We want the very best for all our children and lunchtimes is an importance part of their social and personal development, dens in the orchard, building tyre stacks to climb, adventures on the gym trail, creative and imaginative play in music and dance, playing football or sitting quietly in the pergola.
Ours is a rural location just twenty minutes from Colchester and ten minutes from Clacton. We are an academy with the Vine Schools Trust and so have the support of the trust and of the diocese. We also have training and other support in place for the successful applicant.
