Job Description

Kingswood Primary School and Nursery are seeking to appoint a catering assistant to join our friendly team, working 5 days a week, to ensure that our children enjoy a healthy, happy and safe lunch time. Your duties will include setting up the dining hall, serving lunches, clearing away and cleaning.

You will need to be able to work using your own initiative, enjoy working as a team and be able to work in a busy and demanding environment.

We would love to hear from you if your feel that you have these qualities whether or not you have previous experience working in a school.

Working pattern is as follows:

12.00 - 13:30 Monday - Friday

7.5 hours per week term time only

Start date 23 February 2026

Fixed term until 31 December 2026
