Temporary SEN Learning Support Assistant 13 hours per week 09:00am - 12:15pm Monday to Thursday

Scale 3 point 5-6 £13.26-£13.47 (FTE £25,583 - £25,989) term time only.

Temporary (maternity cover) contract - required from 2nd February to 17 July 2026

Rayne Primary and Nursery School part of the Attain Academy Partnership require a SEN Support Assistant at our friendly village school. We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, caring and dedicated team member to join our SEN team, as a Learning Support Assistant.

The role will be to support a child/children with a range of learning and behavioural/medical needs, also with a view to becoming trained in Diabetes, including the administering of injections.

As an example, you will be expected to undertake the following tasks:

· Working closely with SENDco

· Teach intervention groups

· Work with LSA's to promote effective learning environments through One Plan's

· Liaise and meet with parents of SEND children

· Monitor progress of SEND children

· Provide support and development to sustain motivation and secure improvement in teaching SEND children

· Provide medical care
